VOLTAGE
When two charges have a difference in potential,the electric force that exists between them can be called the electromotive force (emf) .
## The force which sets up a flow of current in a circuit or a conductor is called emf.
Its symbol is E and its unit is Volt.
1 volt = 1000 milli volts.
V = voltage (volt) V = I*R
I = current (ampere) R = V/I
R = resistance (ohm) I = V/R
## The terms potential, electromotive force (emf) , and voltage are often interchangeably used.
